Pharmacogenetics is the study of all the differences in ways that different patients react to certain drugs
It can be divided into two main parts
- Pharmacokinetics
- Pharmacodynamics
Pharmacogenetics helps to determine drug effects on different patients. The effect on the patients might be lower or higher than expected or in some cases; a negative/adverse reaction. This is due to due to variations in the enzymes due to
