In terms of tissue types, a tumor can be intralobular (arising from the epithelium of the lobule/duct) and interlobular (arising from the stroma between the lobules and ducts).
Another classification is the proliferative ability of the tumor -- it can be nonproliferative (simple cysts), proliferative (hyperplasia, adenosis),
