Cavities within the eye

There are three chambers within the eye:

  • Anterior chamber -- Between the cornea and the iris, full of aqueous humor
  • Posterior chamber -- Between the iris and the lens, full of aqueous humor
  • Vitreous chamber (cavity) -- Between the lens and retina, the largest part, contains the vitreous
