Thrombocytopenia means low platelet count. This is the most frequent cause of bleeding abnormalities.

    • Aplastic anemia
    • Malignancies (AML, CML, MDS)
    • Congenital (MPL mutation, May–Hegglin anomaly, Wiskott–Aldrich
