Indolent lymphomas are those lymphomas that are slow-growing and progressing, but they are generally considered incurable.

  • They include:
    • CLL/SLL
    • Follicular lymphoma
    • Marginal zone lymphoma
  • Generally, treatments include:
    • CHOP +- R
    • CVP +- R

Follicular lymphoma

Follicular lymphoma is B-cell lymphoma found in the germinal center.

  • 2nd-most common NHL, appearing in older adult smokers.
  • Histologically, the entire lymph node is packed full of lymphoid follicles (occupying the medulla as well); graded I-III
