Meddists.com (the “Site”) and its services are offered to you, the user (“You”), subject to the following conditions. If you visit or shop at the Site, you accept these conditions. Please read them carefully. In addition, when you use any current or future Meddists.com service, you also will be subject to the guidelines, terms, and conditions (“Terms”) applicable to such service or business. If these conditions are inconsistent with such Terms, the Terms will control.

When you visit the Site or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. Site Contents and Copyright

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all materials, including text, images, details, data, illustrations, designs, icons, photographs, video and audio clips, software, graphics, scripts, logos, courses, and other materials that are part of this Site (the “Contents”) are owned exclusively (either directly or indirectly) by Meddists.com and/or its content providers. The Contents are protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, trade dress and other intellectual or ownership rights owned by Meddists.com. Any rights not expressly granted in the Terms and Conditions are reserved for Meddists.com.

User Content

The Site allows users to write their own notes and submit them. In these Terms, we refer to all of this content provided by users as “User Content”.

By contributing User Content to the Site or creating it on the Site you automatically grant to us an irrevocable and perpetual (except as set forth in these Terms), non-exclusive, transferable, fully-paid, royalty-free (except as expressly set forth in this Agreement), worldwide license, by ourselves or with others, to use, copy, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, print, publish, republish, excerpt (in whole or in part), reformat, translate, modify, revise and incorporate into other works, that User Content and any works derived from that User Content, in any form of media or expression, in the manner in which the Service from time to time permits User Content to be used, in compliance with all applicable laws, and to license or permit others to do so. Our rights under this license remain in place even after termination of your Membership and account.

Meddists.com reserves the right to remove User Content from the Site at any time, without notice, for any reason, or for no reason, in its sole discretion.

You represent and warrant to Meddists.com that (a) you are the sole owner, author and copyright owner of User Content you contribute to the Site or you have written permission from the author, owner or copyright owner to make such User Content available to the Service as “User Content”, and (b) such User Content does not infringe upon any third party rights (including but not limited to any copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, other intellectual property rights, moral rights, privacy rights or publicity rights); (c) such User Content complies with this Agreement and does not contain any defamatory, libelous or obscene material; (d) such User Content does not violate any applicable laws, regulations, or contain any false statements or misrepresentations; and (e) you have the written consent, release, and/or permission of each and every identifiable individual person, or the owner/author of any objects or work in such User Content to use the name or likeness of each and every such identifiable individual person, object or work, to enable inclusion and use of such User Content in the manner contemplated by the Site and these Terms.

License

When you purchase or obtain any of the courses offered on the Site, you are granted with a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, non-transferable license to view and use that particular course for a period of one (1) year, unless explicitly stated otherwise, from the date of purchase or obtainment according to the terms, policies and conditions set in these Terms.

Use of Site; Restrictions

This Site and its Contents may be used solely for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use of the Site or the Contents is strictly prohibited, including, without limitation: duplication, modification, transmission, publication, distribution, redistribution, republication, proxy caching, copying, printing, uploading, posting, re-licensing, selling, or any other dissemination without the express written permission of Meddists.com.

User Accounts

You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account. Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Meddists.com immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security (via [email protected]). Meddists.com will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your password or account, either with or without your knowledge. Furthermore, you could be held liable for losses incurred by Meddists.com or another party due to someone else using your account or password.

You are not allowed to sublicense, assign, share, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise, transfer your right to use your account.

Violations and Termination

In the event that you breach any term of this agreement, Meddists.com may in its sole discretion terminate this agreement, your access to the site, and its provision of services to you without refund, and Meddists.com reserves the right to seek all remedies available by law and in equity for such breaches.

Upon agreement cancellation or termination for any reason, all access to the User Content, third party content, and user information uploaded, posted, emailed, or otherwise transmitted to the Site, will be removed.

No Warranties

The content on Meddists.com should be used as a tool to help students study better. Meddists.com advises you to attend and review all of the lectures, seminars, classes, laboratory experiments, books, handouts, lecture slides, including any other activities and supplementary material provided and/or recommended by your educational facilities. You acknowledge that Meddists.com is not affiliated, associated, authorized, approved, endorsed by or in any way officially connected to the universities listed anywhere on the Site.

Meddists.com uses reasonable efforts to furnish accurate and up-to-date information, but we do not guarantee that any information contained in this Site is accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free or that the Site will be free from viruses. We also are not responsible for any errors or omissions in this Site. Although we may modify the Contents, make improvements to the Site or correct any error or omission at any time and without notice to you, we are not obligated to do so. We will endeavor to update information in a timely manner but we will not be liable for any inaccuracies.

Meddists.com does not endorse and is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any opinion, advice, or statement made through the Site by any party other than Meddists.com. Other than as required under consumer protection law, under no circumstance will Meddists.com be liable for any loss or damage caused by a user’s reliance on information obtained the Site.

DMCA Guidelines

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof, and all prior agreements, representations, statements, and undertakings, oral or written, are hereby expressly superseded and canceled.
