How to study?<\/h3>\n<\/span>\n\n\n

These lists are only recommendations given by the department — thus, it doesn’t guarantee that all of them (if any) will be taught in that specific order.
Always ask your teachers and professors regarding the order and prepare accordingly, since they are the only ones who can tell you exactly what will be taught and when.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/span>\n

Exam<\/h3>\n<\/span>\n\n\n

The exam is a written one where you are going to write multiple choice type of exam. Biochemistry II. topics from “metabolism” and 5 questions with a single choice would be about the practicals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are a Dentistry student there is no practical question in the SCT and the final exam.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/span>\n

Recommendations<\/h4>\n<\/span>\n\n\n

Our lessons are written in the same way as you would present them during an oral exam, or an essay type of exam: In an oral exam, during your presentation, mention the main points without going in-depth, to leave a place for questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oral exams are measuring how precise you understood the material, you need to answer the question “why”? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tips for an oral exam<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your examiner may ask you questions to which you already have prepared an answer. Take your time and don’t ping off an answer straight away<\/strong>. Prepare a complete sentence in your head, and then give your answer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are not sure about your answer, it’s better to try (as long as you’re not completely wrong) than NEVER EVER SAY <\/strong>“I don’t know”. Every time come up with some kind of solution using your knowledge and show the examiner that you are trying your options with the material you already know :

“So what do you think why the succinate is one from which the TCA is working and can give you ATP at the end?
…
…
“based on the fact that succinate is in the mitochondria made from succinyl-CoA and the ETC have the second complex which can work with succinate, maybe this is the answer through the 2. complex cause that is succinate dehydrogenase”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/span>
