To reach this state &#8220;folding&#8221; process should be done. If the folding process went wrong we are talking about &#8220;misfolding&#8221; resulting in a function loss, unstable, protein aggregates (the source of some protein disorders) (Figure 3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/meddists.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/PROTEIN11.png\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"The structure-function relationship of protein II. Amino acids which are highly&#8221;disorder-promoting&#8221;: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>aspartic acid ASP<\/li><li>methionine MET<\/li><li>lysine LYS<\/li><li>arginine ARG<\/li><li>serine SER<\/li><li>glutamine GLN<\/li><li>proline PRO<\/li><li>glutamic acid GLU<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The abnormal structure stems from the changed composition of the amino acids, resulting in the lacking the hydrophobic core (Figure 4).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/meddists.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/PROTEIN12.png\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"The structure-function relationship of protein II.
