For these topics, you are required to describe AND identify the borders, layers, and structures for the respective region<\/li><li><strong>Theoretical questions<\/strong>. These topics refer to materials which are difficult\/impossible to show on gross anatomy specimens, e.g. autonomic innervation, lymphatic drainage, surface projections, or radiographic anatomy<\/li><li><strong>Viscera<\/strong>. For these topics, you will have to describe AND demonstrate the anatomy of internal organs<\/li><li><strong>Blood vessels, nerves, bones or muscles<\/strong>. For these topics, you will have to describe AND demonstrate the structures included in the topic<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You will have a few minutes (or more, depending on the number of students) to prepare a short presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/span><span class=\"block-heading\" id=\"header_5\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"title_collection title2\">Recommendations<\/h4>\n<\/span><span class=\"block-content\" id=\"contents_5\">\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our lessons are written in the same way as you would present it during an oral, or an essay type of exam:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Definition (&#8220;what?&#8221; &#8212; the subject\/structure\/organ\/function you are being asked on)<\/li><li>Description (&#8220;how?&#8221; &#8212; a short explanation describing the functions and main features)<\/li><li>Specific features, if applicable:<ol><li>Parts\/divisions<\/li><li>Borders<\/li><li>Contents<\/li><li>Syntopy<\/li><li>Clinical correlations<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an oral exam, during your presentation, mention the main points without going in-depth, to leave a place for questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tips for an oral exam<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your examiner may ask you questions to which you already have prepared an answer.&nbsp;<strong>Take your time and don&#8217;t ping off an answer straight away<\/strong>. Prepare a complete sentence in your head, and then give your answer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are not sure about your answer, it&#8217;s better to try (as long as you&#8217;re not completely wrong) than say &#8220;I don&#8217;t know&#8221;.
