RAS pathway<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Additional information (not necessarily needed for the TK<\/em>):<\/strong>&nbsp;A<em>n important part of the TK receptor signaling pathway is phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase, which produces phosphatidylinositol-3,4-bisphosphate and catalyzes phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-triphosphate. Its appearance induces membrane binding of proteins that have a PH domain (which may alter the cytoskeleton and cell compartments) and generate a survival signal. This signal should appear from time to time to prevent the pathways of cell death from starting in special cases. This is essentially the phosphorylation of a protein catalyzed by protein kinase B (having a PH domain). PKB binds to the membrane after the release of its phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase products and is activated by another kinase, also known as the PH domain.
